RULES AND REGULATIONS

Board set up

The game is played with two players on a checked board with a GOLD (Trump Zone) on one end of the game board and a BLUE (Trump Zone) on the alternate end of the board. Each player has 12 pieces. The 12 pieces are placed on the board as diagramed.

The GOLD pieces are placed on the GOLD squares and defends the GOLD Trump Zone.

The BLUE pieces are placed on the BLUE squares and defends the BLUE Trump Zone.

A flip of a game piece or a coin decides the first move.

Standard Moves

All  pieces can move one, two, or three squares forward, right, or  left, or any combination of such moves. All moves must be to vacant squares. No piece can move backwards or diagonally. One or two standard moves are allowed before any jump moves. No jump moves backward or diagonal are allowed. No standard moves are allowed after any jump moves.

Examples of Standard Moves Before a Jump Move

In this illustration the Blue three (3) moves two standard moves forward and continues with his third move by jumping and removing the Gold one (1) and the Gold three (3) from the board scoring four (4) points ending his move. No standard moves are allowed after any jump moves.

The Gold two (2) responds by moving one  standard move to the right and continues with his second move by jumping  and removing the Blue ones and the Blue two from the board scoring four (4) points ending his move.

The Blue (3) then moves into the Gold Trump Zone, scoring six points.

The Gold (2) then moves into to the Blue Trump Zone, scoring four points and ending the game.

The game is over if  there are no legal moves left on the board by either player.  A player may, at any  time  concede  defeat if winning is out of reach.

Jump Moves

A jump move allows a player to score points by jumping and removing his opponent’s pieces from the game board. A double, triple, or more jumps may be made in the same sequence as long  as a vacant square exist between each jumped piece in a forward, or a left or a right  direction.  All jumps must be equal to or lower than the number jumped. A one (1) can only jump a one (1).  A  two (2) can jump a one (1)  or a two (2). A three (3) can jump a one (1), two (2), or a three (3).  A player has the option of leaving any jumped piece on the board and giving up the points. No player can jump his own piece.  All continuous jump moves count as one move. No backward or diagonal jumps are allowed. No standard moves are allowed at the end of a jump move.  No piece can jump a piece of the same color.

Examples of Jump Moves

In this illustration the Blue two (2) jumps the Gold ones and continues his move by jumping the Gold two (2), ending his move between the Gold two (2) and the Gold three (3). The Gold ones are removed from the board scoring two (2) points for the Blue.  A two (2) cannot jump a three (3) and  as a defensive move, the Gold two is left on the board giving up the two (2) points.

The Gold three (3) responds by jumping the Blue one (1) and the  Blue  threes into the Blue Trump Zone. The Blue one and the Blue threes are removed from the board scoring seven (7) points.  By jumping into the Blue Trump Zone, an additional six (6) points (Double Points) are scored for the Gold for a total of 13 points on the move. The Blue two (2) responds by entering  the Gold Trump Zone and scoring four (4) points.
